The restaurant is built on 3 floors. Guests below the age 16 are not allowed on our terrace due to security reasons, families are hosted on our first floor, indoors with seaviews. Guests with pets are allowed on our beautiful courtyard. Please do not forget to book your table in advance since the capacity of the restaurant is limited.

Culinarium Restaurant was established in 2003 by a german-turkish couple, Faruk and Ulrike. At first, the restaurant was in Eski Datca, then moved to the Datca Harbour, since 12 years it is located in a side street close to Datca Harbour. Since 20 years, Faruk and Ulrike were providing an amazing dining experience out of the ordinary. They decided to go retired; Mehmet who has worked with Faruk and Ulrike and knows the Culinarium Kitchen and Deniz who loved the concept as a guest took over and are running the Culinarium since September 2022.

Deniz is also a german-turkish coproduction, just like the Culinarium. She speaks 4 languages, knew the Culinarium very well as a guest and upon Faruk’s call to take over, she now manages the Culinarium. Hosting with finesse has always been her passion.

Mehmet, our chef raised by the former chef of Culinarium, has worked 8 years with Faruk when Culinarium was located in the harbour. He had moved away for a time and came back upon Faruk’s call to take over. His passion is to cook meals which make guests feel good.
